Solmax™ - Paraffin/Asphaltene Stimulation Solvent
Solmax™ is a non-ionic stimulation solvent that effectively deals with paraffin/asphaltene fouling in both downhole equipment and the near wellbore radius. Solmax™ is miscible when blended with SynOil's™ SynSol M™ mutual solvent to assist in breaking emulsions/gels, decrease interfacial tension, and remove hydrocarbon coatings from the surface of the formation fines that may be a part of the fouling mechanism.

Application Versatility:
Typical candidates for the Solmax™ product are Oil and Gas Production wells that are under performing, and Injection wells that show an increase in pressure, decreased injection rate, or have a history of oil carryover.
Solmax™ contains a blend of aromatics (asphaltene removal) and aliphatics (paraffin removal). Solmax™ has been designed to mitigate a wide range of organic fouling that is very typical of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Solmax™ also incorporates dispersant technology to assist in increasing load capacity and preventing agglomeration at other points in the system where dynamics may promote further precipitation.
